Nov. 15 (UPI) — The chief of Ethiopia’s Tigray area stated Sunday that his forces fired rockets at neighboring Eritrea.
Tigray President Debretsion Gebremichael confirmed that the area launched an assault on Eritrea and performed a missile strike at an airport within the Eritrean capital of Asmara, describing it as a “official goal.”
Debretsionalso stated the Tigray Individuals’s Liberation Entrance, or TPLF, was combatting 16 Eritrean divisions, with out offering proof.
He additional claimed that Eritrean forces had crossed into Ethiopia by way of the border cities of Badme, Rama and Zalambessa.
Debretsion went on guilty Eritrea for serving to Ethiopia Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed in its battle with Tigray.
