PHOENIX (WR) — Massive parts of New Mexico and far of neighboring Arizona face extreme or excessive drought situations.

The most recent weekly Drought Monitor map launched Thursday exhibits areas of utmost drought in northern New Mexico close to the Colorado border and in New Mexico’s southeastern nook whereas areas of extreme drought are seen in different elements of these areas of the state in addition to a lot of southern and south-central Arizona.
