LAS VEGAS (WR) — The highest federal prosecutor in Las Vegas says two Nevada organizations will, collectively, obtain nearly $1 million in grants to supply transitional or short-term housing assist for victims of human trafficking crimes.

U.S. Legal professional Nicholas Trutanich stated Ceremony of Passage Adolescent Remedy Facilities in Minden and Hookers for Jesus in Las Vegas have been named for grants from the Division of Justice Workplace for Victims of Crime.

The funds are for the organizations to assist trafficking victims discover short-term shelter and everlasting houses, employment and counseling.

The Justice Division says the 2 organizations in Nevada are amongst 73 nationwide receiving a complete of greater than $35 million in Victims of Crime grants.
