Jake Paul threw down the gauntlet to Conor McGregor after his brutal knockout win over Nate Robinson.

The YouTube star floored former NBA participant Robinson — a three-time winner of the Slam Dunk Contest — within the second spherical of their bout, which served as a part of the undercard for the Mike Tyson-Roy Jones Jr. exhibition on Saturday.

Paul now has two wins from two fights and needs so as to add a victory over UFC legend McGregor to his resume.

“I have been coaching my a— off for the previous 12 months,” Paul stated. “I am taking this severely. I’ve a protracted checklist of opponents I wish to battle.

“Conor McGregor, Dillon Danis: I’ll knock each of them out. There’s my brother [Logan Paul], Austin McBroom.

“I wish to be within the sport for a very long time. I am in love with it. Why not?”

McGregor fought undefeated former five-weight world champion Floyd Mayweather in 2017, dropping through a 10th-round stoppage.

Nonetheless, the Irishman, a former featherweight and light-weight champion within the UFC, has extra urgent issues than a possible bout with Paul.

He’s set to make his return to the Octagon in January to face Dustin Poirier at UFC 257.
