Nov. 17 (UPI) — Sen. Chuck Grassley of Iowa has examined constructive for COVID-19, he introduced Tuesday on Twitter.
The Republican realized of his analysis whereas he was already in quarantine after being uncovered to the virus.
“I’ve examined constructive for coronavirus. I will b following my medical doctors’ orders/CDC pointers & proceed to quarantine. I am feeling good + will sustain on my work for the ppl of Iowa from dwelling. I recognize everybody’s nicely needs + prayers &look fwd to resuming my regular schedule quickly,” Grassley tweeted.
Grassley is the sixth U.S. senator to check constructive for the novel coronavirus. Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., had the virus in March; Sen. Invoice Cassidy, R-La., in August; and Sens. Mike Lee, R-Utah, Thom Tillis, R-N.C., and Ron Johnson, R-Wis., in October. Twenty-one members of the U.S. Home of Representatives even have examined constructive.
