Jan. 4 (UPI) — McDonald’s introduced Monday it should begin serving three new hen sandwiches beginning Feb 24 — to additional compete with chains like Wendy’s that extra closely promote hen.

The brand new sandwiches embrace the Crispy Hen Sandwich topped with crinkle minimize pickles, the spicy hen with spicy pepper sauce and pickles, and the deluxe served with lettuce, Roma tomatoes and mayonaise.

In response to the fast-food agency, “We’re serving it 3 ways — crispy, spicy and deluxe.”

McDonald’s beforehand examined the Crispy Hen Sandwich in Houston and Knoxville, Tenn., in 2019, after franchisees requested for a Southern-style sandwich to compete with Chick-fil-A, CNBC reported.

Final November, executives instructed buyers in regards to the wider U.S. launch of the Crispy Hen Sandwich.

“We have heard out clients loud and clear, and we all know they’re craving extra hen choices,” the vice chairman of menu innovation, Linda VanGosen, stated in an announcement. “We’re assured all hen followers — from traditionalists to spice lovers — will uncover a brand new menu favourite.”
